NATO causes in Afghanistan will no more use airstrikes against rebel objectives in private houses if "other means" to cope with the objectives are available, a spokesperson said Wednesday.
Forces "will keep perform functions against insurgents who use private houses, but when there is issue over the use of civilians; air provided munitions will not be applied while other indicates are available," Lt. Col. Jimmie Cummings said.
The declaration did not intricate on what other indicates commanders would use.
The switch comes after an airstrike the other day in Logar region that murdered 18 individuals, such as females and kids. It was the newest of several such hits that have irritated interaction between Afghanistan and the Combined Declares.
